For the fourth consecutive spring, there will be playoff hockey at the United Center. The Chicago Blackhawks will face the Phoenix Coyotes in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, and the action returns to Chicago on Tuesday, April 17.
The Blackhawks finished the season sixth in the NHL’s Western Conference and fourth in the Central Division, but come into the series with a better record and more points than the Coyotes (who are the third seed by virtue of winning the Pacific Division).
Chicago travels to Arizona to begin the series with games on Thursday and Saturday before returning to Chicago, where the Blackhawks had one of the better home records in the NHL this season.
Here is the schedule for the games, with times and television networks, for the entire Blackhawks vs. Coyotes series:
Note: In Chicago, every game will be available on Comcast SportsNet Chicago.
While the Blackhawks are on the road, the organization will be sponsoring official roadwatch parties at various locations around the city. For a list of locations, addresses, times and contact information for the locations of the roadwatch parties, click here.
All of the Blackhawks’ home games are sold out through the traditional Ticketmaster avenues, but there are still a few ways fans can get into the games.
Through the Blackhawks’ website, the Official Blackhawks TicketExchange is a way for fans to buy tickets from season ticket holders. Fans can also visit StubHub to purchase tickets to any of the Hawks’ upcoming games.
